Garden City Rams Girls Lacrosse Club Coaching Application
and Credentialing Standards
Starting with the 2015 Lacrosse Season, all new and returning coaches will be required to complete the Coach Application form and statement which can be found under the Document's tab on the vertical menu.
Starting in with the 2014 - 15 season upon successful appointment to a team each coach will be required to meet the Coach Credentialing Standard for the league that the coaches' team will play in and the GCRGLC Coaching Standards.
Each Coach must complete a new coach application each season
US Lacrosse membership must be current and active for each coach at all times when functioning as a GCRGLC Coach
Coaches must successfully complete a background screen
Coaches must successfully complete the the US Lacrosse Level I on-line coaching course, or the USL Level I Coaching Clinic,
Each Coach must complete the NCPAL Volunteer Application
Each Coach must successfully complete the NCPAL Background Screening Process which includes but is not limited to National Criminal Database Search, Social Security Number Verification, and Sex Offender Registry Check
NCPAL Coaches must submit a passport size photo so that they may upon completing the above requirements receive their Side-Line Photo ID Credentials
All coaches, including returning coaches will be interviewed by the coaching committee. Upon their review, the committee will forward their recommendation to the GCRGLC Board for review and final approval. All coaches must review and sign the GCRGLC Coaches Code of Conduct under the Documents tab on the vertical menu.
